Starting from Patan Darbar Square, the royal palace of the Malla kings, it takes one through oldest and historically important quarters of the city such as Cyāsal and Guitaḥ.

Courtyards and alleyways of Patan (northwest)

This Heritage Walk covers the north-western part of the historic city of Patan (Yala in Newari). It takes one to some important monuments and courtyards as well as alleyways where one can witness everyday life of the Newar inhabitants and how Newar Buddhism is lived in the society.
